"Louise Misha is a plurality of femininity, with which I identify, being a woman, a mother, a sister, an aunt, a friend."

Can you introduce Louise Misha to us in your own words?

MARRIED : Louise Misha is a lifestyle brand for women, children, and the home, which cultivates the bohemian spirit. Bohemian is embodied by a mix of styles and eras, by precious details, highlighting traditional skills, and with Indian-inspired floral prints, recalling my admiration for this beloved country. I want Louise Misha to be a bubble of softness and light for women.

Tell us about the origin of Louise Misha?

MARRIED : Louise Misha is a brand born with limited resources but with a real vision and a very strong bohemian universe. We started with a jewelry line that helped finance the fabric purchases to launch the children's line. There was a real craze in French and international boutiques for the first collections. Then customers demanded women's clothing. We launched the women's line in 2016 then the home line in 2020. We are fortunate to have very strong organic growth to this day. With Claire, my childhood friend and partner, we are living the adventure today with 40 wonderful people, and workshops and partners of the heart.

What was the trigger for launching the brand at the time?

MARRIED : I created Louise Misha in 2012 after working for 7 years for various women's fashion brands. I had a growing desire to create something more personal, I wanted to develop my own universe. Above all, I had a great need for freedom. Watching my nieces grow up, with whom I am very close, was also a trigger: I dreamed of dressing them.

How does the creative process work at Louise Misha?

MARRIED : Each collection is a new journey. I always want to tell a story that is as personal as possible. Every day, I collect lots of photos of materials and colors that I assemble in my (many) notebooks. This is the starting point for a collection. Then we gather our ideas with the team and present the models to our workshops. A long process of exchanges follows to arrive at the final prototypes. The shoot tells the whole story; it is a decisive and very intense moment where all the work comes to life. Image is very important to Louise Misha, almost as much as the clothing.

What is the house’s iconic model?

MARRIED : The embroidered jacket is one of the iconic pieces of the Louise Misha house. Worn as a total look with a matching skirt or twisted with a denim piece, it enhances any winter look. Combining intricate embroidery and noble materials like velvet is one of Louise Misha's signatures.

How much of your own personality is reflected in Louise Misha?

MARRIED : Louise Misha is a bohemian brand. I try to spread this spirit through the pieces and images of Louise Misha. I am someone who has a great need for freedom, to free myself from existing codes. I travel a lot. My travels are a great source of inspiration. I am very curious and I am passionate about painting and creation in general. Finally, I would say that Louise Misha is a plurality of femininity, with which I identify, being a woman, a mother, a sister, an aunt, a friend.

What role does vintage play in your personal wardrobe?

MARRIED : For several years now, my wardrobe has been essentially, if not 100%, composed of Louise Misha pieces! Vintage plays a major role in our inspiration and in our research for the collections. On the other hand, in my interior, particularly that of my new vacation home in Saignon in the Luberon, vintage has its place, between the second-hand curtains and the second-hand furniture which brings its soul and its history.

How do you raise awareness among your teams about the environmental issues in fashion?

MARRIED : We have an increasingly reasoned approach to different aspects: the quality of materials and the importance of the durability of each piece.
favor materials from organic farming and recycled materials whenever possible.
Women's Empowerment: We are proud of our first capsule with Saheli Women, this exceptional ethical workshop in India that aims to empower the women who work there and pass on exceptional know-how.
