In terms of color and design, the options are endless. Gingham, embroidered, Austrian polka dots, crochet, very fitted or loose and fluid, there is something for everyone! For a classic look, opt for solid colors and simple cuts. For more daring silhouettes, crochet or lace crop tops are the most popular.
For casual events, like a brunch or a picnic, opt for a loose crop top with a fun graphic pattern or print. For a more formal event, choose a crop top with a more sophisticated design, or a more noble material like silk.
For an evening, opt for a crop top in sequins, embroidered or lurex to wear with black pants and a pair of heels.

If you don't want to show off your belly too much, the best tip is to opt for a high-waisted bottom and a belted cardigan over it. If you don't want to show anything at all, you can opt for a mesh crop top over a white shirt.
