It is then woodblock printed with the utmost respect for Indian traditions. Blockprinting, or woodblock printing, is a skill typical of Rajasthan in western India. It involves manually printing the fabric using hand-carved wooden stamps. This block printing technique using natural dyes is called Bagru, the name of the village where it originates. Our products are handmade by artisans; the small imperfections that may appear on our printed fabrics attest to the fruit of careful manual craftsmanship.
