Cleopatra's Bling pendant, model Gorgoneion Amulet Olivia, the founder of Cleopatra's Bling, hunts for ancient coins in the alleys of the Grand Bazaar in Istanbul, Turkey. She recreates with them, designs to create new modern pieces. In ancient Greece, the Gorgoneion (Greek: Γοργόνειον) was an amulet that warded off bad luck showing the head of Gorgon (or Medusa). Athena and Zeus would have worn the gorgoneion as a protective pendant. All pendants come with a matching 50-55cm chain. Your Cleopatra's Bling jewel is unique and has been made by hand using traditional jewelery techniques and exceptional materials. To preserve your jewelry as long as possible, avoid spraying perfume and bathing in it. All Cleopatra's Bling metals are lead and nickel free. They are also recycled (remelted). 18k Gold Plating
