Details This Indian cotton curtain was handmade by weavers in the Kutch Desert in the northwestern Indian state of Gujarat. Indians have practiced traditional handloom weaving for generations. Villagers often own looms in their homes, allowing them to weave fabrics and scarves for friends and family, giving them the means to achieve financial independence. Before making their fabrics, the weaver sketches a design that requires precise information on the number of threads to use for each part of the design, as well as the color palette. Jamini shares her design sense with master artisans who use their expertise to create unique pieces. It is a two-way learning and sharing process that allows both parties to contribute to the preservation of traditional art and crafts. Our products are handmade by artisans, the small imperfections that may appear on our fabrics attest to the fruit of careful manual craftsmanship. This ecru Indian curtain will brighten up your interior decoration with its pretty charcoal graphic pattern. With its pretty colored pompoms, our curtain will add an elegant touch for a bohemian chic inspiration and will be the perfect accessory for your living room or bedroom!
